Daily Program Overview
Each session of Reading Success Academy is designed to build strong, confident readers through engaging, research-based instruction. Students participate in a variety of literacy activities that target reading fluency, vocabulary development, comprehension skills, and reading confidence.
During each session, students will:

Practice reading with accuracy, expression, and fluency

Build vocabulary and word knowledge

Strengthen comprehension through interactive reading activities

Apply reading strategies to a variety of texts

Participate in engaging literacy games and challenges

Receive individualized support and feedback from experienced educators.

Daily Schedule
Reading Success Academy uses short, engaging 15-minute rotations to keep students focused while targeting fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and reading confidence. This research-based approach maximizes learning and minimizes frustration, helping students make steady academic growth.
4:00PM -4:15PM: Snack Break
4:15PM -4:30PM: Fluency Focus
Goal: Build reading accuracy, rate, and expression
4:30PM - 4:45PM: Vocabulary & Word Study
Goal: Expand vocabulary and decoding skills
4:45PM - 5:00PM: Reading Comprehension
Goal: Improve understanding of text
5:00PM - 5:15PM: Reading Success Lab
Goal: Apply skills in an engaging format
5:15PM - 5:30PM: Independent Reading & Conferences
